If all goes well, I’ll be using the wonderful Mapbox platform more frequently in 2026. I recently created a stylized map of Detroit MoGo (bike rentals) stations as a fun project to get back into the Mapbox flow. Here’s a screenshot of the result:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I love being able to use custom icons (the bikes) versus a simple geometric shape. Mapbox also provides the ability to publish and embed all custom maps, allowing users to zoom in and out or pan the maps by dragging them in any direction.
